The story
Ondewei started as Rider@UM, a concierge MVP run out of one campus, one phone, one founder.
Two years of taking orders by hand taught us how students actually order food: short messages, mixed BM and English, the same dish twice a week, "sampai mana?" every five minutes. The platforms didn't speak that language. So we built one that does.
We're a small team. Most of us live on or near campus. We use the product daily. When something breaks, you'll usually hear from us directly.
Mission
Make campus food ordering feel as easy as texting a friend, while keeping student riders and local cafes at the centre of the economics.
Vision
Be the default ordering layer for every Malaysian university, owned by the campuses that use it, not extracted from them.
